We’ve managed to spend some moments in Algarve and I have to say it was pretty cool. Check out the pictures.

Finally, some good weather and some pleasant weekends! Went to the beach one week and had a small party and a grill the next week. Now the only thing missing  is a long, two-week holiday

Check out my playlist created on Imeem with just a few clicks. When you create one you can add songs to it by typing artists, song titles, albums, etc. Each time a list of songs is given and when you choose one - you will also see a list of similar content. It all makes the creation of playlists and searching for your favourite content very fast and simple. After you create one, you can embed it on any web page, your blog or Facebook. Me like it!

By the way, the playlist does not represent a 100% of my music interests, it was just created quickly using some content that I find OK

I came across a short article, giving a list of Internet radios that could offer you the same functionality as Last.fm and for free. Imeem was right on top of that list. I decided to check it out and I have to say - I like it better.

The registration was a very intuitive process and during it the site has asked for exactly the information I would expect it to. Very little personal information, just the name and birthday (the age might be used for the algorithms that guess your music preferences?), then a chance to create your own network of friends using your email account (with the option to skip that step of course) and finally a very nice way to choose your favourite artists.

With just a few clicks you have your service personalized and ready to play the contect that you wish to hear. Aneta, Mati and Seba have arrived to spend more than a week with us! We’ve been arranging this visit for quite a while already, since our trip to Poland in December. Well, but we could have chosen a a better time, really… For the first three days we’ve been experiencing some very annoying rain…

But with the help of some Sangria and beers we’ve managed to make it through! And luckily on Sunday it already got a lot better. We went to Guincho, Cascais and even tried to catch some sun on our beach. Hopefully, the upcoming days will bring nothing more than sun.

Damn. Out of date again.

First of all, operation “The trip to Tunisia” was a success The necessary money was found almost instantly and I had a nice 5-day journey to the savage land of North Africa To be honest, I didn’t like Tunisia that much. It looks old, dirty and pretty ugly. And the people are rude and savage Being 100% European, it’s just not my kind of place.

Then we’ve had a really long and nice trip to Poland! Now that was a 101% success. We’ve managed to spend about equal time in the houses of our parents and to see plenty of friends. We left Kinga with her grandparents (ones or the others) every other evening and went out - really! First real parties for us, since… probably… our wedding That included some nights out at pizzas, ice skating ring and M7 club in Bialystok. And on the night of December 31st - a New Year’s Eve party.

My document was accepted for a conference in Sousse, Tunisia!

The document presents a single study that I’ve done using my medical image segmentation algorithm. I’ve been waiting for the results since the 1st of September, so as you can see - quite a while. They were quite important, cause a refusal would mean that I haven’t shown anything special or innovative and I would have to re-think all the principals of the study again. Fortunately - the results must have been impressive enough to convince the reviewers This pretty much gives a green light to go along this path with my work.

Now, only to find someone who would like to pay a couple thousand euros for the trip and I’ll be spending a few days in the “Mercure Diar El Andalous, a five star hotel, truly stunning property located 5 minutes from port El Kantaoui”
